Fotomuseet Sundsvall has one of the world's larges collections of cameras and accessories. The foundation for this collection is the Swedish Camera Collection (SCC), originally a private collection, bought by the municipality of Sundsvall in 1994. The collection has grown extensively during the years and now holds several thousands of cameras from all ages and of all brands.

We produce exhibitions out of the camera collection. We are also working on ways to exhibit the connections between the machine, the camera, and the object, the photo, and the subject, the idea. Caretaker of the Camera Collection is the non-profit foundation Föreningen Fotomuseet.
