Exhibition about & around the Soviet propaganda journal published in the decade of 1930 to 1941. It became an artistic gem and counter-current in the first year of socialist realism. Its pages offered some of the greatest examples of early 20th-century photomontage. With elements such as oversized pages and multi-page fold-outs, each issue exists as an elaborate artistic creation.Photos by Alexander Rodchenko, Arkadii Shaikhet, Georgii Zelma, Boris Ignatovich, Semion Fridland,Georgii Petrusov all the famous soivet photgraphers.
